Youth Protection Reminder

This is a reminder that BSA Youth Protection is a requirement for Catholic Emblem counselors and facilitators to recertify and complete a new background check every two years. Please log onto the www.my.scouting.org web site and select the E-Learning option from the Training menu to update your youth protection training.  It only take 20 minutes!

In the Archdiocese of St Paul & Minneapolis, pastors may additionally require counselors and facilitators to complete the Virtus certification process in order to offer the Catholic Religious Emblems program at their parish.  Please contact the pastor of your host parish for guidance.  For more information on Virtus certification, go to http://www.archspm.org/departments/pcyi/
